The department is set on the basis of interdisciplinary research and teaching efforts with faculty across Da-Yeh University, Taiwan, one of the best research universities.

The department is also influenced by its strong connection with business in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Japan.

It is hoped that our department can be the world's foremost research center of business creation and technological innovation.

◎ Freshman:

。Management principle(3 credits)
•Course Description:
This course deals with the overall general management of a corporation. It involves the study of a set of activities (including planning and decision making, organization, leading and controlling) directed at an organization's resources(human, finacial, physical, and information) with the aim of achieving organizational goals in an efficient and effective manner. It is concerned with the determination of the strategic direction of organizations, as well as the management of strategy forming processes within organizations.

•Course Description:

•Basic principles of the private law of business including the law of contracts, agency, and business organizations; a brief introduction to the law of sales, commercial paper, security devices, and property.

•Course presents an overview of the product development process from concept generation to design, manufacturing, and project management. There is an emphasis on product definition, early concept development, visual reasoning and engineering graphics. Students work on product development projects on interdisciplinary teams.
