1. Introduction
Founded in 2000, the Center for Honors Program (CHP) of Da-Yeh University is an independent learning center where integrates the multi-disciplines of humanities, management and science. Registered with the Ministry of Education in 2001, the fundamental principles of the CHP are encapsulated in the acronym HELP: Humanity, service to others; En-vision, international awareness; Leadership, communication and people skills; and Professionalism, creativity, autonomy and ethic. The CHP aims to cultivate integrity and conscientiousness among the honored students from the different colleges of the university; more importantly, to transform the students into the role models of academic excellence, strong characters, and international perspective.
2. Applicants' entrance requirements
1 1)The applicants who must be either sophomores or juniors (including day and
evening students).
2) The applicants must meet the following requirements: the average of the grades of the previous two semesters must be within the top 30 % in the class; the average score of behaviors & manners must be above(/including) 80 points.
3) One copy of grade transcript, a brief introduction of yourself in Chinese, and two recommendation letters from your supervisors or teachers.
3. Length of the program :
In order to achieve the program diploma, every ineligible student may need to spend 4 semesters or more to
complete the required courses.
