Brief history of Night School (Branch School)

The forerunner of the Da-Yeh University branch school (or evening division institute ) is the Da-Yeh institute of technology  night school.¡@The night school was established in 1992.  The first departments of night school including Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering enrolled one hundred students, fifty for each class.

Electrical Engineering and Business Management were joined in 1994.  In 1997, Da-Yeh was promoted from Institute of Technology to University.  Meanwhile the night school was transformed into the branch school (²Ä¤G³¡).  At present over six hundred students had graduated from the night school, over one thousand students study in the night school and the branch school.

The independent enorlling started since 1996.  Half of the freshman quota supply for the senior engineer graduates.  The left quota supply for senior high graduates.  It supports an opportunity for those students who fail in the united universities entrance exam, or who have to work part time in the daytime.

Now the independent enrolling keeps running every year.  And the educational resources of the branch school are purposely promoted year-by-year.
